On
Friday, December 8, 2006, Athletes for Charity along with
Carlos Emmons, Antonio Pierce, Derrick Ward, Bob Whitfield
and Michael Jennings of the New York Giants hosted "Bowling
for Charity," a holiday toy drive to benefit foster
care youths for the 2006 holiday season. The event helped
raised funds and collect toys which were distributed at
holiday parties for Hale House, Incarnation Children's
Center, and the Lutheran Social Services Foster Care program.
